Gerry ForthCo-Proprietor and Winemaker
Gerry grew up in the farm country of Pennsylvania. By age eleven, he had already made his first home wine using wild grapes and berries. It was a humble beginning that would pave the way for more sophisticated and passionate explorations in later life. Gerry’s winemaking style is focused on vineyard practices that emphasize the terroir of the vineyard and the character of the particular grape variety. In the cellar, he believes in gentle processing and minimizing human intervention in the natural aging process.
Jann ForthCo-Proprietor and Sales Director
A California native, Jann grew up in a family that spent hours around the dinner table together. It is little wonder then that her passions now are people, wine, people, food, people and the exquisite magic that occurs as individuals come together around the table and are transformed into a special community.
She approaches her work in the vineyard, cellar and kitchen with a thoroughly hands-on and hands-in approach, believing that soul is imparted through human touch. While constantly exploring the alchemy of wine and food pairing, she continues to develop her culinary skills, attending classes at the California Culinary Academy and the Aspen Cooking School.
